I gained a lot of confidence in my knowledge and abilities as a business analyst. I mention this benefit first because I believe that this is what led to me experiencing all the other, more measurable, benefits in my career. Once I obtained the CBAP® designation, I simply felt more confident in my ability as a business analyst, and this gave me the confidence to consider and choose from multiple job opportunities within the city I was working in at the time, rather than just taking the first job that came along.
