- The relationship is necessary in order for the requirements to be understood in a holistic way.
- The relationship is correctly described between the requirements.
- The relationship is unambiguous in that it is clear and there is no confusion or multiple interpretations about the relationship.
- The relationship is consistent in the way that it is described between the different requirements. This means that the relationship description follows a standard or guideline as outlined in the viewpoints of the requirements architecture.
