Stakeholder

The core concept of the Stakeholder refers to how the stakeholder can provide information about a solution's performance and value delivery.

Let's look at a new example to see how the concept of the Stakeholder works in the real world:

After the implementation of a new user interface to an existing call center solution, the stakeholders noticed an increase in the time that a call center agent spends to resolve customer inquiries. As the business analyst, your role is to elicit detailed information from stakeholders in relation to the performance of the new solution component—the new user interface in this case—and analyze the information to determine the cause of the increase in the call duration.

Therefore, during solution evaluation, it is important to realize that stakeholders are engaged to provide information about solution performance and value delivery.
