Who doesn't want to be paid more, right? It is, however, very important to do a bit of introspection and really find those specific reasons why you want to earn more, such as the following: 

• What will be different when you earn more?
• What could you do then that you cannot do today?
• What else would be possible?

Some of you will have reasons such as My kids will be able to get a better education, or I can give them something they have been asking for, or I can take my family on a more luxurious holiday every year. All of these reasons are very good as long as they also include a reward for you, and only you!

The reason you must find a strong reason that moves you personally into a feeling of intense happiness, contentment, joy, and fulfillment when you think about getting an increase in earnings is that without that reason, you will EITHER not get an increase OR you will settle for less than what you are worth and deserve.
