This core concept refers to how the stakeholder engages with the project team to maintain understanding, agreement, and approval of requirements and designs.

Let's look at an example to bring this concept into the real world: 

Let's continue with our previous example of the requirement to create a solution, which allows the customer to submit a request for an electricity supply charge review via an online portal. The stakeholder who asked for this change is closely involved with the requirement and has a very good understanding of the requirements. He also agrees with the requirements in general and is willing to approve requirements supporting this change.

Therefore, it is clear that stakeholders play a vital part in Requirements Life Cycle Management activities with a clear relationship to the solution, the need, and the change.
